Your drone, ready for the European market.
Independent support for drone manufacturers. We guide you through EU class certification and help bring certified products to European operators.
Draft. Names and details in [brackets] will be completed.
EU class labels (C0 to C6) under Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945.
Why a class label decides your access to Europe
New drones without a class label can’t be used in the open category. EASA FAQ
These classes can’t be self-declared. They need an EU type examination by a notified body. Regulation 2019/945
Remote ID, geo-awareness, noise limits and documentation must all be in place before testing.
What we do
We work alongside your engineering and quality teams to prepare your product for certification. We coordinate the process with independent notified bodies, and the certificate is issued in your name.
Compliance roadmap
A clear view of what your product needs, before you spend on testing.
- Mapping your drone to the EU class requirements
- Gap list and priorities
- Realistic timeline and effort
Certification coordination
One point of contact between you and the test laboratories.
- Choosing a notified body and getting quotes
- Test plan and technical file
- Declaration of conformity and class marking
EU market launch
Once certified, we help products reach operators.
- EU importer duties and documentation
- Distribution and after-sales
- Operator training and registration support
The certification path
Five phases, with a decision point after the first one.
Gap analysis
A notified body or expert reviews the product against the class requirements. You decide whether to continue.
Design adaptation
Closing the gaps: Remote ID, geo-awareness, altitude limits, noise, labelling and the user manual.
Testing
Laboratory and field tests to the EN 4709 standards, plus radio and EMC requirements.
EU type examination
The notified body issues the certificate. You then draw up the declaration of conformity and apply the CE and class marking.
Market launch
Importer set-up, documentation, distribution and operator support.
Timing depends mostly on how ready the product is. Costs are set by the notified body and quoted per project.
About us
eudronez helps drone manufacturers from outside the EU reach the European market. We guide you through EU class certification (C0 to C6) under Regulations 2019/945 and 2019/947, working alongside an independent notified body that issues the certificate.
Once your drone is certified, we stay at your side: from preparing your product for the EU market to marketing and market introduction. One partner, from first assessment to first sales.
We started eudronez to make the road to Europe clear and manageable for manufacturers who build great drones but are new to EU rules.
Hands-on
We spend time with your product and your team, not just on paper.
Transparent
You see every quote, report and decision. Certificates and test results belong to you.

Questions from manufacturers
Can we declare the class ourselves?
For C0, C4, C5 and C6 a manufacturer can use self-declaration if the harmonised standards are applied. C1, C2 and C3 need a notified body.
How long does it take?
That depends on how close the product already is. The gap analysis gives a realistic estimate. Test laboratories can often complete testing in weeks once the design is ready.
What does it cost?
Notified bodies quote per project, and fees vary with the class and the product. We help you compare quotes and avoid paying for the same test twice.
Do we need an EU importer?
Yes, if you sell into the EU from outside it. The importer has legal duties, such as checking documents and marking, and handling complaints.
Will you share our product information?
No. We sign a confidentiality agreement before reviewing technical details.
